I was having a conversation with a fellow therapist late last week about treatment recommendations for a brain injury. I began talking to her about what Neurofeedback does and how effective it can be in helping the brain access different areas that can be blocked due to brain injury or strokes. I started looking around for articles to help this therapist make a good informed decision before she started sending referrals. I came across this article from Psychology Today from Diane Roberts Stoler, Ed.D, who is a neuropsychologist. She talks about her own personal journey with neurofeedback after suffering a stroke. I am adding the links for her articles and encourage you to read these and share them with your friends and family. The more educated people become about the effectiveness of neurofeedback, and especially with personal testimonials, the better they can make informed decisions about treatment.
